Aww….Isn’t He Cute or What?

Oh Lord.. (sign) Photoshop is one program that I am still getting used to. This assignment was pretty fun. I never have much time to have play and create with the software like I did with this assignment. For the assignment, I had to edit a photo to look like an Instagram filter. The photo I used was found at StockSnap.io. I LOVE dogs (as you can see haha) , so that is why I choose the photo below. Once I opened the file in Photoshop, I followed the tutorial to complete the assignment. Now that I know how to create a Instagram filter through Photoshop, I will be creating filters more often. Usually, I tend to follow directions well so to follow the tutorial and to create the new photo was not hard for me. What I found hard was finding the different tools because my Photoshop software was an older version.  Other than that, I thought my final project turned out pretty cool. (see below)

Uniquely Paradise

Hmm, what do I describe as paradise? Oh, my lovely humble abode. In particular, referring the room I am currently in, it is very very relaxing. In this room, I feel very relieved and calm. The cleanliness of my surroundings puts me in a state of relaxation. Looking around, what will catch your attention are the five bold pillows and the unique painting on the wall.  In spaces I design, I love photos that act as a mind game to add excitement to the space. The light shinning in from my patio bounces off the bold colors of the pillows and creates a canvas for the wondering eye to scram. Stress does not exist what so ever in my space. The smell of eucalyptus spearmint aroma therapy will erase the stress of everyday life before your eyes. So what is paradise for me? It’s my space, my sanctuary, which is just a key turn away.

This particular assignment was to describe the room I am currently in in detail. Now the assignment seemed pretty simple but to really engage and think about a space in detail was challenging. When I designed my space, I did put thought into it, but not to describe it. Personally, after finishing the assignment, I thought it was a great exercise to put what you see in writing. There are many ways one could describe my space for instance but I chose my own unique way to describe what I see and feel.
